Several studios and galleries in the Paseo Arts District will be showing new exhibits of paintings, photographs, ceramics and other artwork this weekend during the monthly Paseo Gallery Walk.
Gallery walk hours are 6 to 10 p.m. today and noon to 6 p.m. Saturday in the historic arts district, NW 28 and Walker to NW 30 and Dewey.
Here are a list of the exhibits opening this weekend:
• "All Black and White: Photography by Randy Poe”: Gallery artist Randy Poe will exhibit a collection of photographs, primarily nature and scenic photos, taken over the past three years at In Your Eye Studio & Gallery, 3005 Paseo A. Information: 525-2161 or www.inyoureyegallery.com.
• "Birds of a Feather”: An exhibit of paintings by B.J. White and ceramic assemblage works by Merry Cox will open tonight at JRB Art at the Elms, 2810 N Walker. Information: 528-6336 or www.jrbartgallery.com.
• "14 Songs, 14 Paintings — Reel-to-Reel: See It, Hear It, Feel It”: Artist Diane Dillingham created 14 paintings based on the song’s her son, violinist Kyle Dillingham, recorded with his band Horseshoe Road on the CD "Reel-to-Reel.” The paintings are on exhibit through March 21 at Adelante! • "Spring Into Art”: Contemporary Art Gallery, 2928 Paseo, is showing this month an exhibit of paintings featuring the colors of spring. Information: 601-7474.
