Louise Jones, a Professor at The University of Oklahoma, was born in Texas and received her BFA in Graphic Design from the Kansas City Art Institute.  She worked as a professional artist for 14 years before attending The University of Oklahoma to study print making.  She received her MFA in 1999.  Jones completed 8 murals for The University of Oklahoma between the years of 1995 and 1999.  The murals are located in the Jacobson Visitors Center, the Chemistry Building, the Carnegie Library Building, the Student Memorial Union and Robertson Hall.
