Each has a unique style; Shane’s abstractions bring out a fluidity in the human form, while Sara’s whimsical narrative allows the viewer to weave a story around the sitter. Sara’s portraits are dramatic, evocative and nuanced, while honoring classical figurative painting. Her females tempt us between fantasy and the everyday.
