Tracey Bewley Biography

Tracey Bewley, a native Oklahoman, graduated from Norman High School in 1982. She went to Oklahoma City Community College from 89-92 and received an Associates degree in Art and Design. She went on from there to OCU and graduated with a BFA and a minor in Museum Studies. In 1995, Tracey started her designingcareer at MTM Recognition. Tracey worked as a graphic and product designer and worked up to managing their custom design division where most of their high profile awards are created including awards for NASCAR, College Bowl Game awards, and corporate awards for large accounts such as Sonic, McDonalds, and Merrill Lynch, to name a few. She worked there for 22 years before quiting to take on full time management of Art Fusion Studio, the gallery and studio the she and her husband own.

Tracey has explored many artistic mediums, such as illustrating, painting, sculpting, photography, stained glass and now has focused primarily on fused glass and mixed media pieces for over 19 years. She belongs to several local art organizations including OVAC, IAO, Paseo Artist Association and OAG. Tracey's fused glass, along with custom furniture and other artistic creations, has been shown at Istvan Gallery, JRB Gallery at the Elms, Studio 6, Artspace at Untitled Gallery, Lovetts Gallery, Nona Jean Hulsey Art Gallery, Artifacts Gallery, 108 Contemporary, AHHA, OKMoA Museum Store and, of course, Art Fusion Studio. She and her husband have participated in festivals such as the Festival of the Arts, Paseo Arts Festival, The Girlie Show, Bayou City Art Festival and Arts Festival Oklahoma, among others. She has also been in many juried and invitational art exhibitions such as the 12x12, EdgeArtNow, Café City Arts, Function & Design Show, Dinner at the Deuce, Seven State Biennial, etc.
